Pomona, CA - Pomona Valley Pride is thrilled to announce that the highly anticipated Inaugural Pomona Valley Pride Festival is just three weeks away! Taking place on November 9, 2024 at the Pomona Fairplex, this celebration of LGBTQIA+ pride and community promises to be a landmark event, bringing together people from across the region to embrace diversity, inclusion, and unity.
With the theme "Unifying Voices, Celebrating Diversity", the festival aims to bring together the LGBTQIA+ community and allies, highlighting the power of collective voices while celebrating the rich diversity that defines the community. It will be a day to honor the progress made, acknowledge the unique experiences of individuals, and envision a future where all are embraced and affirmed. The festival will feature live performances by talented LGBTQIA+ artists, showcasing music, dance, and more! Attendees can explore a vendor marketplace offering unique crafts and services from LGBTQIA+-owned businesses, enjoy a variety of delicious food from local vendors, and connect with community organizations providing health and wellness resources. The Youth Zone will offer games and workshops in a safe space for LGBTQIA+ youth, while inspiring art exhibits will highlight the creativity and resilience of the community.
The Pomona Valley Pride Festival is committed to being an accessible, welcoming space for everyone. We invite LGBTQIA+ individuals, allies, and families to join us for a day of celebration, education, and connection. This event is $20 for adults and free to anyone under 18 (with a valid student ID) and we encourage people of all ages to participate.
